Laura Luciano - Art Director/Web Site Designer

We were fortunate to have Laura Luciano design our corporate identity system and this web site as one of her very first assignments upon opening her own design firm in 1997. Since then she has also designed for some other companies you may have heard of: Barnes & Noble, Morgan Stanley, The New York Times, Pfizer and Philip Morris.

When she steps away from her desk, she is either drawing, visiting museums, or admiring an architect, er .. I mean "admiring architecture!"

Laura's next step is designing brands and interiors for restaurants and hotels. Her current project in this vein is "The Coraline Cafe," a cyber-cafe in Brooklyn, which opened in the Winter of 2003.

Laura sums up her career philosophy in a quote by Marc Chagall: "If I create from the heart nearly everything works; if from the head, almost nothing."
