We are pleased to announce the creation of a 501(c) charitable corporation known as lipka.org, inc., administrators of the Kathryn Barrera Trust, which was begun in honor and memory of our dear friend and colleague, Kathryn Barrera. The trust offers grants to women fighting ovarian cancer to defray the cost of complementary care that is not covered under medical insurance policies, and other nurturing services. These services are tailored to the individual’s needs. One person might need someone to walk their dog, another might like to have a yoga instructor come to her home, and someone else might like macrobiotic meals delivered, or enroll in a macrobiotic cooking course herself. All donations are tax deductible. lipka.com, inc. donates at least 10% of our profits each year to this trust.
